Research is an invitation to ask better questions

When a study appears in a peer-reviewed journal, that is a useful opportunity to learn. It is not automatically a universal endorsement of every product use or claim.

Look beyond the headline

A useful reading considers the number of participants, comparison groups, outcome measures and limitations. Results may be significant for one outcome and inconclusive for another.

The Aniball-related publication

A 2023 British Journal of Midwifery article investigated antenatal pelvic floor training using a vaginal balloon device in Czech women. The original publication is available on the publisher’s website, including its methodology, findings and limitations.

Research is not personal guidance

Published studies describe groups, not a prediction for any one pregnancy. Discuss personal decisions with your qualified healthcare professional.

A note about safe use

Before using Aniball, please read and follow the complete instructions included with your product, including all warnings and contraindications. If you are pregnant, discuss your individual suitability with your maternity healthcare professional.
